Speaking at last Monday’s meeting of Wexford County Council Cllr Kathleen Codd Nolan wondered if the report on the noise levels was ready adding the members had been told it would be available in March.

A report into noise from windfarms is expected in May

Director of Services John Carley said that the report was ‘taking longer than expected. We are getting it validated and we expect that will be completed in the coming weeks adding ‘it could be May before it will be released’.

He said there were also data protection issues which needed to be resolved but he promised ‘it will be a robust report’.
