A man is on trial accused of making his neighbours’ lives hell by waking them with loud recordings of monkey and chicken noises.
Ian Wheatcroft is on trial at Southampton Magistrates’ Court which heard from neighbour Clive Jones spoke about what he has had to put up with.
He said: ‘We’ve been subjected to horrendous noises late at night. Chicken noises and monkey noises were common from 11 in the evening until 4am.
‘The chicken and monkey noises were definitely recordings which were amplified.
